VIC Health staff can access and authenticate the new Therapeutic Guidelines mobile app onsite or when working remotely. There are two mobile app authentication options available for users working onsite. You will need to contact your institutional admin for more information on which authentication option to use.

Option 1

Navigate to the Clinicians Health Channel on your mobile web browser (i.e., Google, Chrome, Safari etc) and click on the Therapeutic Guidelines portal link. The link will automatically authenticate users and grant access to the new Therapeutic Guidelines platform.

You can install the new mobile app through the mobile web browser for your Apple or Android devices. See the mobile app installation instructions at the end of the document.

Note: users may need to clear cache to see the new content updates.

Option 2

WIFI (IP address) authentication

IP address authentication allows users to access the app based on their network's IP address. This method is often used by organisations to provide secure access to their employees or members.

Note: users may need to clear cache to see the new content updates.

How to authenticate with IP address

  1. Connect to the network: Ensure that you are connected to the network that has the authorised IP address. This is usually your organisations internal network, or a VPN provided by your organisation.
  2. Access the app: Open your Therapeutic Guidelines app installed on your device from the Google or Apple app store.*
  3. Automatic access: If your IP address is recognised by our system, you will be granted automatic access without needing to log in.
  4. Troubleshooting:
    • If you are not granted access, ensure you are connected to the correct network or VPN.
    • Contact your IT department to verify that your IP address is correctly configured for access.
  5. Contact IT Support: For any issues, reach out to our support team at support@tg.org.au
